Call for Abstracts

Abstract Submission : from early May to August 31, 2024

Acceptance Notification : Early October, 2024

2024 AACR-KCA Joint Conference cordially invites you to submit abstracts. Submitters are asked to choose their preferred presentation type and abstract categories when using the submission system. All conference abstracts must be submitted via the conference website ONLY.

Presentation Type

Selected presentations who demonstrate the highest levels of scientific and clinical impact will be recognized by abstract review committee. Select your preferred type for your presentation, however, the committee reserves the right to make the final decision on the mode of presentation.

Abstract Format

  • ·
  • Language: Abstracts must be written in English.
  • ·
  • Authors: Presenting author's name will be underlined and do not include degrees or titles.
  • ·
  • Affiliations: Each author should be listed by department, institution, city and country.
  • ·
  • Content of Abstracts:
    • -
    • Each abstract should contain (a) an introductory sentence indicating the purposes of the study; (b) a brief  description of pertinent experimental procedures; (c) a summary of the new, unpublished data; and (d) a statement of the conclusions.
    • -
    • Four words – (a) Purpose, (b) Methods, (c) Results, (d) Conclusions – should be include in the abstract's body.

  • Length of Abstracts:
    • -
    • The combined length of the abstract body may not exceed 400 words, not including spaces.
    • -
    • Submission cannot be completed for abstracts that exceed this limit.

  • Please be sure to carefully check your abstract for content errors, spelling, names, etc. before submitting.
    AACR and KCA do not proofread or correct spelling, typographical, grammatical, or scientific errors, nor can changes be made once the abstract is submitted.

  • Authors may modify the submitted abstract until August 31, 2024 in Abstract Modification.

Responsibilities of Authors

By submitting an abstract for presentation at this conference, abstract authors agree to the following:

  • Submission of an abstract implies that the presenting author has the consent of all authors and has obtained necessary institutional clearances.
  • ·
  • The presenting author must register at the time of acceptance of his or her abstract.
  • ·
  • Authors who submit an abstract confirm that they have not previously published these data, that they have not previously presented them at the international conferences, and that they are not planning to present or publish them prior to the dates of the 2024 AACR-KCA Joint Conference.

Notification of Acceptance

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Abstract Review Committee according to standard review procedures.

  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to presenting (submitting) and corresponding authors.
  • ·
  • If your abstract is accepted, please be sure to register no later than October 21, 2024.

Withdrawal of Abstract

  • ·
  • To withdraw an abstract after its submission, the abstract presenter must make the request by email to (abstract@aacr-kca.org) at least 30 days prior to the start of the conference.
  • ·
  • If the presenting author does not register for AACR-KCA Joint Conference by the registration due date, his/her abstract will be automatically cancelled and withdrawn.
